The Tuani’s story in San Juan del Sur
Seven kitchens, one place by the sea
Tuani’s started from a simple, slightly stubborn idea: that one place in San Juan del Sur could do it all, and do it well. Not a restaurant that also has a bar, or a bar that also serves food — but seven real kitchens under one roof, right on the harbor.
The question we got most at the start was: sushi, in Nicaragua? The answer is the Pacific right in front of us. Fresh fish every morning, imported Japanese rice, and a chef who treats every roll like it’s the only one. Today we’re the only sushi in town — and one of the dishes people come back for.
By day we’re a restaurant: breakfast from 8am, executive lunch, Pacific seafood, premium-cut steaks. As the sun sets we change skin — happy hour, cocktails, live games. And at night, the best party on the coast: DJ, VIP tables, and a floor that doesn’t stop until the last song.
We serve guests from 25+ countries a year, but we’re still the neighborhood spot: where the waiter remembers your name and the chef comes out to say hello. That’s the Tuani’s story — and it’s only getting started.
